FAQs

General Questions

What kind of equipment do you use?
Full Frame Canon and Nikon DSLR Cameras and Lenses are used. We will also make sure that we have sufficient backup equipments, batteries and memory cards at any situations. It is very important that we are able to continue to record the day regardless of any possible equipment failure.

What is your payment plan?
A non-refundable deposit of 30%, unless otherwise stated, is required to reserve your wedding date and the balance 70% to be paid on the actual wedding day before wedding reception. This can be discussed further if necessary. Deposit can be made via Cash, Cheque or  Bank Transfer but we only accept CASH for final payment.

How far in advance should I book?
You should aim to book as early as possible while the dates are still available.

How many images are usually provided in the package?
The number of images delivered depends on the type of event, location of the event, hours of coverage and number of guests attended. For most of the Actual Day weddings, at least 500~600 images are given. All the images are delivered in High Resolution in JPG format with DVD. CameraMen Group retain the copyright to all images and the right to use them for advertising, trade, educational materials and/or for any other commercial purposes.

Are your photos edited?
All the photos will be digitally edited and enhanced before they are given to you.

When can I expect to get back my photos/albums/videos?
Turn around time for edited photos and video will be 8~10 weeks and that of flush mount album will be 1~2 months.

Do we need to provide transportation for CameraMen?
For the customary tea ceremony, from the bride’s place to the groom’s place and back to bride’s place, transportation arrangement is necessary. However, if the travelling is one-directional and not coming back to the bride's place, we will arrange for our own transportation.

Questions related to Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

Where will our portrait sessions take place for Pre Wedding shoot?
We can either do the session at your home, on location around  Singapore or at home based studio. More natural, contemporary looks are best achieved in surroundings that people are familiar  with.

What if it rains during an outdoor shoot?
During the pre-session consultation, we will discuss back-up locations in the eventuality that it rains. At worst scenario, we can rearrange the shoot for another day.

What are the best times of day for a session?
From a lighting and weather perspective, we recommend to do indoor/studio shoot in the morning and outdoors in the late afternoon as the sunlight during these periods is not as harsh and can produce very nice portrait images.

Questions related to Wedding Photoshoot

Is it alright if our family and friends would like to take pictures With their cameras?
Yes, they are allowed to take pictures with their cameras. However, we would like to request them not to block our shoot away.

Do you do posed group or table shots?
Yes. We do have table shots, candid shots as well as interview throughout the event. Detail services will be specified in the quotation itself.

Questions related to Wedding Videoshoot

What is your shooting style?
Our videographers are unobtrusive and candid. The best compliment we can receive at the end of the wedding from the clients is, "I didn't even ask us to HOLD & POST at situation but you captured all of our special moments naturally which was shown in morning express highlight".

How much time is required for a express highlight (a.k.a same-day edit)?
For express highlight, the videographer/editor will require at least 4 hours of uninterrupted editing time. We would prefer to end morning session latest by 1 pm. We then head to hotel straight and do editing. Therefore, we require the client to request for a place with a table, chair and power outlet.

How many videos/DVDs will we be getting?
That depends on which package you have hired us for. Generally, for a full day (10 hours) coverage with express highlights, you will be getting 1 express highlights DVD (5-7 mins) on the actual day and another full day edit (30~50 mins) 8~10 weeks after your wedding day.
